Welcome to Winter Arc Challenge ("the App", "we", "our", or "us"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our mobile application.

By downloading or using Winter Arc Challenge, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.

Winter Arc Challenge is designed to be used without any registration or account creation. You can use all features of the App without providing any personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number.

• No email address collected
• No password or credentials stored
• No personal profile created
• Full functionality available immediately

Data Stored Locally (On Your Device Only)

The following data is stored exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to our servers:

• Challenge progress and completion streaks
• Habit tracking entries and daily logs
• App preferences and notification settings
• Custom goals or reminders you set

Data We Do NOT Collect

• Name, email, phone number, or any personal identifiers
• Location data or GPS coordinates
• Camera, microphone, or contacts access
• Biometric data of any kind
• Photos or media from your device

Automatically Collected Data (via AdMob)

Google AdMob, our advertising partner, may automatically collect certain non-personal technical information. See Section 04 for full details.

Winter Arc Challenge is a free app supported by advertising. We use Google AdMob, a mobile advertising service provided by Google LLC, to display ads within the App.

What AdMob May Collect

• Device identifiers (Advertising ID / IDFA)
• Approximate location based on IP address
• App interaction data (ad views, clicks)
• Device information (model, OS, screen size)
• Network information (carrier, connection type)

Types of Ads Shown

• Banner ads displayed within the app interface
• Interstitial ads shown between screens
• Rewarded video ads (optional, to unlock features)

How to Opt Out of Ad Personalization

• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization
• iOS: Settings → Privacy → Tracking → Disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track"
• Visit: adssettings.google.com to manage Google ad preferences

AdMob's Data Retention

AdMob retains advertising data as per Google's data retention policies. We do not control or have access to this data. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for full details.

Since we do not directly collect personal information, our use of data is minimal. The following describes the purpose of any data processing:

App Functionality

• Storing your challenge progress locally on your device
• Sending local push notifications for daily reminders (if enabled)
• Saving your preferences and settings on your device

Advertising (via AdMob)

• To display relevant advertisements that support the free app
• To measure ad performance and prevent ad fraud
• To comply with Google AdMob's publisher requirements

The App may contain links to external websites or resources. These are provided for convenience only. We have no control over the content or privacy practices of those sites and accept no responsibility for them.

Winter Arc Challenge is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions under GDPR). We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take immediate steps to delete such information. Our AdMob integration is configured to serve non-personalized ads in cases where user age cannot be determined or the user is identified as under 13.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your data:

All Users

• Delete local data: Uninstall the App to remove all locally stored data
• Opt out of ad personalization: Via device settings (see Section 04)
• Reset Advertising ID: Via device settings to clear ad targeting history

EU / EEA Users (GDPR)

• Right to access data held about you by Google AdMob
• Right to data portability and erasure
• Right to withdraw consent for personalized ads at any time
• Right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

California Users (CCPA)

• Right to know what personal data is collected
• Right to opt out of the "sale" of personal data (we do not sell data)
• Right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights

We take reasonable measures to protect the information associated with our App. Since we do not maintain servers or collect personal data, our security approach is straightforward:

• All user progress data is stored locally on your device using your operating system's secure storage
• We do not transmit personal data to our servers — because we don't have any
• AdMob data transmissions are encrypted using industry-standard TLS protocols
• We regularly review our App's security practices and update as needed

However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will:

• Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
• Post the updated policy on this page and within the App
• Notify users of significant changes through an in-app notice
